In spring everywhere is covered in flowers as there is no pollution. Cyclamen, daisies, poppies and orchids carpet the ground wherever you go. For cat lovers the kittens are arriving and unsteadily making their way into the squares.

In summer the sultry days are filled with the sounds of cicadas, the sea is aquamarine and beautiful to bathe in. The bars and restaurants are open into the early hours and music is heard everywhere.

In autumn the colourful bougainvillea, Wedgwood blue plumbago and sweet scented jasmine still flower and long walks become enjoyable once more. The monasteries on the top of the hills beckon whilst the water is still warm and inviting.
